WHAT

MAKES

US

DIFFERENT

Many professional and elite athletes are participating in the CrossFit Program. Prize- fighters, cyclists, surfers, skiers, tennis players, triathletes and others competing at the highest levels are using the CrossFit approach to advance their core strength and conditioning, but that’s not all. CrossFit has tested its methods on the sedentary, overweight, pathological, and elderly and found that these special populations met the same success as our stable of athletes. We call this “bracketing”. If our program works for Olympic Skiers and overweight, sedentary homemakers then it will work for you.

Coach

katie

Katie's path to coaching crossfit has been a natural progression. She started crossfitting in 2013 and became hooked. she liked that she was able to satisfy endurance training with weightlifting and body-weight calisthenics in just one hour. As her love of crossfit grew she knew she wanted to start training others. since 2013 she had received her level 1 crossfit certification, level 2 crossfit certification, weightlifting level 1 certification, and crossfit kids certification. "working with people and showing them what they are capable of is an addiction for me." I love seeing their reaction when they do something they thought they could never do.

Coach

tim

My whole life I was always active in sports. I played football, hockey, and basketball in highschool and moved on to play Division 1 Rugby at Central Michigan University. This is where I worked on getting my degree in health fitness rehabilitation and preventative rehab. As an exercise physiologist, working with athletes was natural and this lead to the start of my CrossFit career. I found my wife during my first couple weeks in the crossfit gym and drove me to love the sport even more. We continue to grow and learn what our bodies can do. I believe in what we are doing is helping the overall population and look forward to helping others achieve thier goals.

Coach

ANTHONY

Coach Anthony Johnson. My obsession with fitness started about twelve years ago when I began training for body building and power lifting. I coached the varsity powerlifting team at cros-lex high school for 1 year before enlisting into the Marine Corps. I started training crossfit ideologies in 2015. I started training at port huron crossfit in March 2017 and immediately fell in love with the community. In december 2017 I attended the crossfit level 1 training seminar. In September 2018 I competed with team POHO fit at the kill cliff granite games.
